A Friend sent me this:
Attitude
There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head. “Well,” she said, “I think I’ll braid my hair today?” So she did and she had a wonderful day.
The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head. “Hmm.” she said, “I think I’ll part my hair down the middle today?” So she did and she had a grand day. The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head. “Well,” she said, “today I’m going to wear my hair in a pony tail.” So she did and she had a fun, fun day. The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn’t a single hair on her head. “YEA!” she exclaimed, “I don’t have to fix my hair today!”
Attitude is everything.
For Amy Another theme?
——————————————————————————–
Life is too short to wake up with regrets.
So love the people who treat you right.
Love the ones who don’t just because you can.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Kiss slowly.
Forgive quickly.
God never said life would be easy.
He just promised it would be worth it.
Thanks to Becky for this verse…
Thanks to Blaine for the suggestion that “I Will Not Be Broken” by Bonnie Raitt should be my theme song! Here’s the link in You Tube:
I will not be someone other than who I am
I will fignt to make my stand
Push me to the limit, baby
I may bend
But I know where I am not going
I will not be broken
Here's something from Diane that I like:
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, chocolate in one hand, margarita in the other, body thoroughly used up and totally worn out,and screaming "WOO HOO! What a ride!"

Pat, I’m going to ask the webmaster at http://www.breastcancerdiy.com to add Bonnie’s song to the recommended listening list:

I think your new anthem will become the same for a lot of other people. I love hearing you singing along to it!

Hey Pat,
Love the website. Truley great. I loved reading it all. It took me back. Can you beleive its been 8 years. You are headed in the right direction and seem to be doing great. Its good to see all the support you have. So important. Its great that you get to go home after treatments and seems that you have a bit of an appetite so thats good. Oh try not to think to hard of the grouseness of the blood/platlet transfusins but think of all the wonderful people out there that have donated to help. It took me a bit to get over, it is a weird feeling not knowing were the blood came from and what type of person they were. But I guess I tried to look at the big picture. I was always worried of my body not excepting it, but out of the tons I got daily my body never did. I try to promote people in donating blood and platlets I dont think people do it enough. I am so happy you are going through this strong and positive it is the only way to go. GOOD FOR YOU, and imbrace your beautiful bald head. You and keith could have fun with it
Get wigs in different colors and lenghts. You can become your very own actress in the bedroom
That is if your feeling up to it. Well my dear. Keep it up, and as always Iam thinking of you….

Hi Aisha
You definitely are my hero. I remember visiting you in the hospital and the months after, including your bald head–which was very cute. I look at you now and am so pleasantly amazed at the family you are raising, which was against the “odds” given to you 8 years ago. Thanks for the info about transfusions. Hopefully, I won’t have to do that, the Taxol shouldn’t be as harsh on the bone marrow as the A/C was. I always had a photo of you on my fridge–think I’ll print one out today and put it where it belongs
Love you,
Your other mother
