It became clear today that I would need to start journaling my experiences as I move through the process of healing my body from cancer. The doctor said that by finding my own lump, I saved my own life. This blog will be part of that effort. My goal is to lift my own spirits and have others join in that work, lifting theirs at the same time.

Breast Cancer: The Journey Begins

I think the blog is wonderful idea Pat and I agree with the Doctor there, not only finding the lump but noticing the HER2 indicator while they didn’t. Im sure they will catch on quickly to be on their toes that they are dealing with one smart lady!

Hi Pat,
We so have to be our own advocate in our health care and medical care. I am so glad you have family that can ALSO advocate for you and Yes, get lots of information and opinions so YOU feed good going into ANY treatment you have.
I too found my own lump in my left breast at age 22! It was taken out the following weekend and was benign. I haven’t had any since.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do.
I read you are with Kaiser, but my hubby works at Menifee hospital if you have any questions or?? I don’t know I just want to help anyway I can.
Much Love,
Beth
